Infiniti releases the official pictures and specifications of the new IPL G Coupe. The car is the first in the range of the Japanese manufacturer to bear the logo “Infiniti Performance Line”, this line will be part of every car in the house of the rising sun oriented driving pleasure. The first vehicle from the range is the 2011 IPL G Coupe planed starting the first debuts at a special event at the 60th annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and goes on sale only in the United States market in December.

The interiors G Coupe are finished with leather sport seats and aluminum trim. New IPL G Coupe will be available exclusively with a choice of two exterior colors, Graphite Shadow or Malbec Black. Important note the equipment of the G Coupe is new features design, where the new design Infiniti G Coupe are including a Bose sound system, satellite navigation, roof and opening rear camera for reversing. But what beats under the hood? A nasty version of the generous 3.7 V6 increased to 348 hp (+18 compared to the standard engine) at 7400 rpm and 374 Nm of torque well (+8) at 5,200 rpm. The substance of the extra power goes to the sports exhaust system fitted to the car and a new electronic mapping of the unit.

In terms of IPL G Coupe chassis features a new sports suspension with stiffer springs, 20% front and 10% rear and recalibrated dampers accordingly. Infiniti’s engineers also fiddled around with the G37’s suspension bits, increasing spring rates by 20 per cent up front and 10 per cent at the back. The IPL G Coupe also receives a sportier-tuned steering wheel system and larger brakes with aluminum-alloy opposed calipers (4-piston front/2-piston rear), along with the firm’s Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD).
