Mercedes-Benz has launched images and details of all new CLS, the luxury car design officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and scheduled release on market in October. Mercedes CLS is the second generation hatchback coupe, sold since 2004 in more than 170,000 units. If the first generation introduced the concept of 4-door sedan with coupe forms from the new CLS is will be the  first Mercedez car with new styling design. However, the new CLS is an evolution model from previous Mercedes CLS variant.

Mercedes CLS implement new LED technology in the headlights. In total, the new Mercedes CLS has 71 LEDs that blend well with the Night View function. Many innovation designs has been made inside new Mercedes CLS, the car will be availaible in five different colors options and three types of leather upholstery for the CLS interior.

At CLS launch, the engine range of the new Mercedes CLS will consist of five engines. The petrol versions will be represented by the CLS 350 CGI with direct injection 306 hp and 370 Nm of torque and the CLS 500 is equipped with the new 4.7 V8 twin turbo engine from 435 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Instead, the supply of diesel versions will be made by the CLS 250 CDI with 2.1 twin turbo 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque, CLS 300 CDI with 231 hp and 540 Nm of torque, while the top of the range will move from the CLS 350 CDI 3.0 V6 engine from 265 hp and 620 Nm of torque.
