Chevrolet Aveo will Replace Chevrolet Sonic

Chevrolet said will launch Chevrolet Sonic in 2012 to replace Chevrolet Aveo which the car was shown at the Detroit Auto Show. The replacement Chevrolet Aveo is called Chevrolet Sonic and the commitment of General Motors to banish the bad memories of dear little Aveo.
The new Sonic has a better appearance and better interior. The new Chevrolet Sonic combines the practicality of a small vehicle with a passion for driving such vehicles as the Chevrolet Corvette, said Chris Perry, vice president Chevrolet marketing. It may seem an exaggeration to compare this car with a Corvette, but not so much because they are the same Corvette engineers responsible for the conduct and management of this vehicle.

The new Sonic comes in two models, sedan and hatchback, with 1.8-liter engine with 5-speed manual gearbox or automatic, 6. It will also come in a 1.4-liter version with an automatic or manual Chevrolet OnStar and 10 airbags and more. The engine used in this model is the same as currently used in the Chevrolet Cruze.
